Life Sciences Forum Saxony - "Digital Health"

On September 10, 2021, the Saxony Economic Development Corporation (WFS) will host for the fifth time now the Life Sciences Forum Saxony on the campus of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. It is the key get-together of all relevant stakeholders and addresses a specific topic of the healthcare industry at a different venue every year.

By choosing Görlitz as an event location, the regional focus is to be expanded by topics and participants from Poland and the Czech Republic for the first time ever this year. Particular attention will, thus, be directed at the superb potentials available in the border triangle.

Against this backdrop, digital healthcare will be the guiding theme this year.  The topics range from those “enabling technologies” without which advanced technology would actually be unthinkable to the technology nexus hospitals as those places where these innovations are found and need to be brought together all the way to practical tips and field reports on cooperations revolving around life sciences in the border region.

We anticipate approximately 80 participants on site – representatives from companies (including startups), doctor’s offices, health insurances, research institutions, and public administration.
