FUTURESAX: Saxon Founder Award

The futureSAX Startup Competition ("Saxon Founder Award") comes with a 30,000 euro cash prize. Individuals as well as teams (including companies) are eligible to participate with their innovative business ideas and/or start-up concepts. Participants must have their place of residence and/or their (intended) corporate headquarters in Saxony. The submitted start-up concepts must excel with a high market potential, a great customer benefit as well as a novel, innovative approach. Technology-oriented and science-based start-ups receive particular attention.

SÄCHSISCHER GRÜNDERINNENPREIS [SAXONY‘s WOMEN’S START-UP AWARD]

The Saxony State Ministry of Social Affairs and Consumer Protection (SMS) has been presenting the Sächsischer Gründerinnenpreis [Saxony’s Women’s Start-Up Award] to young female entrepreneurs in the Federal State of Saxony since 2008. The award pursues the objective of encouraging women to start their own business and follow the path towards self-employment.

The contest is primarily designed for young entrepreneurs, business founders, students, and scientists. The regional IQ Innovation Award Leipzig is sponsored by the Leipzig Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer as well as the City of Leipzig’s Office for Economic Development.

The Lausitzer Existenzgründer Wettbewerb (LEX) [Lusatian Start-up Competition] addresses students, university graduates, scientific staff members, employees, business founders, inventors, developers, and entrepreneurs from all industrial and commercial branches. Business plans for start-ups, company succession, or the expansion of business segments can be submitted. Such founding, succession, or expansion must take place in Lusatia and must not be older than four years.

"KRACH - Kreativraum Chemnitz" is a new award that supports companies from the cultural and creative sectors in Chemnitz during their start-up process. Young entrepreneurs that want to set up their business in Chemnitz can receive financial support in the start-up phase, consulting services through a network of experts and rent-free working space for developing their ideas.
