Scale-up Program in Saxony for International Companies
For international start-ups and scale-ups in the green tech sector, Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. (WFS) offers a customized one-week program in Saxony designed to help companies take the next steps in their growth. The application deadline is July 12, 2026.
We are looking for start-ups and scale-ups in the fields of energy generation, energy storage, energy efficiency, hydrogen, the circular economy, etc., that offer the following:
- a dedicated team
- a mature product beyond technology readiness level 6
- a well-funded company in the series A phase or later
- the willingness to find the scale-up location best suited for your next growth steps.
What is offered to participants?:
- Support in securing funding from international investors who focus specifically on hardware and deep tech: As part of the program, you’ll gain access to the High-Tech Venture Days, where you can present your company at your own booth.
- Support in establishing or expanding production: You will be guided through the entire process of starting production in Germany (from finding the right location to obtaining all necessary permits).
- Support with sales: Would you like to sell your products in Germany—Europe’s largest market—as well as in CEE countries? The WFS will connect you with the right contacts.
- Support in product development: Enhance your product with the “Made in Germany” label by collaborating with leading universities, research institutions, and R&D companies. The WFS connects you with the right contacts.
Timeline:
- Through July 12, 2026: Application phase
- Starting August 1, 2026: Video conference with the five selected start-ups / scale-ups
- October 19–23: Scale-up week in Saxony – The one-week program will be tailored to the participants’ needs.
- End of October: Feedback and debriefing
The program is free of charge for the selected companies. They are only required to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
