The original small engineering office, founded in 1996, gradually grew into an internationally active company that is now represented worldwide with over 500 employees in 24 branches. The letters VSB in the corporate name represent the Latin words for wind, sun and bio-energy: Ventus, Sol, energia Biologica. Those are the Business Areas of the VSB Group.

The company is active both at home and abroad and develops complete solutions for wind farms and photovoltaic parks. The services range from the selection of the right location and wind measurements to construction and commissioning all the way to technical and commercial operational management. Since 1996, WSB has built more than 800 wind power and photovoltaic plants.
