The Design Center of Bosch Sensortec GmbH in Dresden develops application-specific integrated electronic circuits (ASICs) and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) for the consumer electronics sector.

The Dresden semiconductor factory produces ASICs (application-specific integrated circuits), power semiconductors for vehicles and industrial applications and, in the future, MEMS sensors on 300-millimeter wafers. The resulting semiconductor chips and sensors are used in many electronic systems, particularly in mobility applications such as airbag, ESP and brake systems as well as in engine and steering control.
