Its core competence is the production of three-dimensional fiber composite components. As all processes can be mapped in-house, customers only have one contact person for their project and benefit from agile processing. The company has a special focus on basalt fiber in product design. In addition to a low price, this fiber offers further advantages, e.g. as an insulator, especially in the age of electromobility. High thermal stability and good strength round off the properties. For lightweight components, these are produced as sandwiches with foam cores or honeycomb structures. Alpha-Sigma also works with innovative materials such as paper or wood.
