Since 1981, Leipzig-based IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH has been combining two complementary perspectives in its domestic consulting and international project work, with knowledge from each area mutually reinforcing and enriching the other.

• Making sustainability measurable – with DINAK

The DINAK system, developed in collaboration with INL – Privates Institut für Nachhaltige Landbewirtschaftung GmbH (Private Institute for Sustainable Agriculture), reveals the complex effects of agricultural activities. Efficiency, economic, and sustainability analyses transparently show whether modernization measures such as new technology, digitalization, or changed processes are ecologically, economically, and socially viable.

• Digital consulting with FarmAxis

The IAK FarmAxis software bundles operational data, creates comparability, and supports decisions on a sound business basis. This enables farms to identify potential at an early stage, e.g., in animal husbandry, crop production, or process organization.

• National and international focus

IAK Agrar Consulting's international project work in agricultural economics, rural development, and sustainable agriculture brings fresh perspectives to German consulting practice—and at the same time, global projects benefit from the in-depth experience gained from domestic consulting. The company works along the entire value chain, networking with research, agricultural practice, processing, and technology partners, and can provide direct on-site support if required. IAK Agrar Consulting gains valuable insights from projects in over 30 countries, which are then passed on in Germany – and German expertise is transferred to international agricultural systems in the same way.
