Since its foundation in 1911, the company has benefited from over 100 years of experience and produces textile products on modern computer-aided machines. The range of services extends from textile manufacturing for textiles of all kinds with a focus on HF welding, digitizing, sewing, small series as well as large-scale production and cutting. Its customers include numerous public authorities as well as MSA Europe GmbH, Dräger, BTG GmbH, Butonia Kahage, Hatz and many more.

Since the takeover of MSA Europe GmbH in summer 2016, Thieme has also been manufacturing the tried-and-tested chemical protection suits (CSA). These hard-wearing special suits for protection against chemicals are made from high-quality, safety-relevant materials and are used by the fire department, chemical industry, agriculture, police, military and many other sectors.
