Information and objective

In recent years, artificial intelligence has become a driver of economic growth and innovation. Numerous developments are already emerging from Saxony, complementing the region’s already wide range of smart technologies and digitalization solutions. A technology “SAXIONY!visit” event in Saxony is set to facilitate collaborations with industry experts from Austria and Switzerland.

Saxony Trade & Invest (WFS) invites experts, decision-makers, and managers to join on a special business trip through Saxony. 

Numerous players are active in Saxony along the entire value chain for AI, Software and Cybersecurity and related innovative fields. You'll have the unique chance to explore Saxony’s innovation ecosystem. 

The 3-4-day agenda will include: 

• Free access and attendance of 1 or 2 days at the innovation event BRAINS ON SILICON 
• Discussions and lots of networking possibilities with experts and company representatives about innovations in the sectors AI, cybersecurity and related areas
• Presentations showcasing the competencies and business opportunities in Saxony
• Cultural highlights
• Company visits

By attending also the BRAINS ON SILICON event in September 2026, participants can meet partners, establish collaborations, and exchange expertise on the latest technologies. The Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. (WFS) rounds it up with additional company visits.

WFS kindly asks everyone to register and / or submit ideas for cooperation beforehand, which could then be discussed during the trip.

WHAT IS SPECIAL?

Only 15 participants will get the chance to explore Saxony's AI, software and cybersecurity landscape and get an unique access to Saxony's B2B conference on applied AI. 

Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. (WFS) offers you: 

• either 1 or 2 day  exlusive access as guest to BRAINS ON SILICON event

• the possibility to get in contact to up to 1,500 local event attendee's

• the top benefit of the participation: free of charge instead of 439,00 € participation fee

• an additional 2 days business program (free of charge instead of project managment and registration fee)

COSTS

Participation in the SAXONY!visit project is free of charge but requires prior registration.

The following project costs are covered within the project:

• Project management in Saxony
• Transfers in Saxony / Company visits
• Lunch on September 16 and optional 17, 2026

The following costs are not included and need to be financed by the participants:

• Travel expenses to / from Saxony
• Accommodation costs in Saxony and short-term cancellation fee's for hotels or flights
• Costs for the preparation of your company presentation / marketing material
• Second day and / or full attendance of the BRAINS ON SILICON event
• Own travel and health insurances
• Individual visits to tourist sites
• Individual appointments
• Upgrading option for BRAINS ON SILICON

“BRAINS ON SILICON 2026” will be located at International Congress Center Dresden, Ostra-Ufer 2, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

Local transfers and logistics

• All group transfers in Dresden wíll start and end at a central place.
• The organizers of BRAINS ON SILICON and Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. will use event apps, where you can find all details without further registration.
• For the local logistics communication theorganizers will use common mobile chats or social media channels
• A project manager of the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. will accompainy and support you throughout the program. 

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Upon registration, each participant can specifiy interests and needs for cooperation. Your application needs to be confirmed prior to the event either by the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. or by the project partner. The number of participants is limited.

• A minimum number of participants is required; otherwise, the project may be canceled. 
• When registering for the program, you accept the General Terms and Conditions of Participation for Events issued by the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation (WFS). The project is organized in cooperation with the 3rd Party as well. Registration data will and need to be shared with those partners for organizational matters.
• With your registration for this program, you agree that the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. and its partners may also take photographs and videos during the complete event and publish them in online and offline media.
• For the project communication during the project Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. will use social media chanels (e. g. WhatsApp or similar) or event apps.

SUPPORT and FUNDING

This event is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxony state parliament. The client in this context is the Saxony State Ministry of Economics, Labor, Energy and Climate Protection, which supports the project. The event is part of a "SAXONY!visit project". The project is being coordinated by Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH (Saxony Trade & Invest Corp.).
