Visit SAXONY! at the TRAKO International Railway Fair
From September 23 to 26, eleven Saxon companies, together with the rail technology cluster Rail.S and the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp. (WFS), will be presenting their expertise in the field of rail and transport technology as well as innovative developments in the industry at TRAKO in Gdansk.
TRAKO is the largest and most important trade fair for rail infrastructure and railroad systems in Poland and the second largest of its kind in Europe.
"TRAKO is established as the central platform for the rail sector in Central and Eastern Europe and has therefore been an important showcase for the industry in Saxony since 2011. More than 600 exhibitors and over 23,000 visitors from over 50 countries are expected," says WFS Managing Director Thomas Horn.
Rail.S Managing Director Dirk-Ulrich Krüger is also looking forward to the start of the trade fair: "With the construction of a nationwide high-speed train network, Poland is investing 18.3 billion euros in 480 kilometers of high-speed rail, including what will be the country's longest railroad tunnel. This opens up great opportunities for our more than 115 member companies, especially as suppliers of machinery, technology and services for the railroad infrastructure. Rail.S will actively support the companies in contributing their strengths and benefiting from the growing Polish market."
"We are delighted to be attending TRAKO for the first time and showcasing our latest LED design solutions, which offer maximum flexibility and can be seamlessly integrated into almost any 3D shape. With our innovative and state-of-the-art solutions - from ambient and signal lighting, handrails and luggage racks to air ducts and complete ceiling systems - we see great potential in the expanding Polish railroad market. Our participation in TRAKO is an important step towards further expanding our business in Poland and meeting the increasing demand from authorities, OEMs and interior fitters," explains Günter Sengeis, Head of Sales at SBF Spezialleuchten GmbH from Leipzig.
The following exhibitors will be represented at TRAKO (Hall E/ Stand 43):
