Saxony's hydrogen expertise at Hyvolution in Paris

Together with representatives from HZwo e.V., the HIC - Hydrogen Innovation Center, Fraunhofer IWU, and Vinuity's Chemnitz site, WFS presented the diverse expertise available along the entire value chain, from research and production to the application of hydrogen.

The main aim of Saxony's participation was to exchange ideas with companies planning to invest in Saxony – for example, around the Hydrogen Innovation Center (HIC), which acts as a central point of contact for innovation and cooperation in the hydrogen sector. The cooperation with HZwo proved to be very valuable in this regard: HZwo enjoys international prestige and is very familiar with the Saxon hydrogen ecosystem. This made it possible to identify suitable business and cooperation partners. The reception at the German joint stands, which took place in cooperation with Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), also met with great interest from the international guests.

SAXONY! evening in Paris

The highlight of the trade fair was the SAXONY! evening on January 28 at the Hotel Lutetia, which was organized in cooperation with GTAI. Following keynote speeches by WFS on Saxony as a business location, by HZwo and HIC, and by GTAI on the hydrogen market in Germany, there was intensive networking between Saxony's and German players and French companies from the industry. The event was rounded off with an investor dinner with various French companies that expressed their interest in Germany as a business location and with whom concrete investment opportunities were discussed.

Further projects in the hydrogen sector

Saxony is actively working to present and network its own hydrogen ecosystem internationally and to open up new markets.
