Propulsion Systems for Sustainable Infrastructure in Orbit
Morpheus Space is a leading innovator in the field of space mobility and supplies state-of-the-art electric propulsion systems to the New Space industry.
Morpheus Space was founded in 2018 out of a university laboratory at the Technical University of Dresden, where a team of scientists set out to fundamentally transform how satellites move through space. What began as research into electric propulsion quickly evolved into a bold mission: to create scalable, efficient mobility for the new space economy. From day one, Morpheus Space has been developing propulsion systems for a sustainable infrastructure in orbit.
In 2019, the startup participated in the very first Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator in Los Angeles, where the team refined its business model and expanded its global reach. By early 2020, Morpheus Space had secured seed funding; in 2021, it opened its U.S. office and was able to advance the development of its modular propulsion systems.
In 2024, Morpheus Space unveiled “Reloaded,” its series production facility in Dresden, built to deliver its proprietary GO-2 propulsion systems on an industrial scale. From the lab to the launchpad—Morpheus Space is driving the future of space mobility.
