Raw algae food from the region
Under the ALGENWERK brand, plant manufacturer Puevit offers raw, unprocessed spirulina as a fresh, regional food. The algae grow in the company's own facilities and are harvested directly and freshly bottled without any further processing steps.
There are no pills or powders at ALGENWERK - the microalgae spirulina is only offered in its pure original form - unprocessed, regionally produced and super fresh. The Puevit company makes sure that all processes are designed according to the principles of sustainability - for example, electricity from renewable energy sources is used and the process water is processed by a partner into biostimulants for healthy soil.
Recently, ALGENWERK also began supplying fresh microalgae to a partner for the production of ice cream. "AIS" is the first vegan ice cream with the functional benefit of fresh microalgae as a substitute for milk. It is particularly creamy and delicious, with around 30% less sugar than standard ice cream varieties.
