anona GmbH has been rooted in Colditz, Saxony, for almost 200 years and is also internationally active. From here, food is delivered to customers in 30 countries on six continents. Reliably and on time at all times - thanks to a modern warehouse and logistics system.
anona was founded in Colditz in 1826 as a grain mill and has been family-owned ever since. Today, anona GmbH is the second largest food producer in Saxony. More than 600 employees from 19 nations work in the three Colditz plants. They produce sports, fitness and diet foods as well as nutritional supplements exclusively for private labels. These are distributed worldwide.
anona has its own 30-strong research and development department. Around 1,000 new products in the form of powders, bars, capsules, tablets or liquids are created here every year on behalf of customers. They are produced on more than 60 different lines. This requires a great deal of professionalism, flexibility and regular investment. The two production lines for powder sachets that went into operation in summer 2024 give anona a good competitive position.
