Fighting Cancer

At the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Dresden, patients and researchers are heading in the same direction. Everything revolves around ultramodern cancer drugs and immunotherapies.

At the National Center for Radiation Research in Oncology “OncoRay” in Dresden about 80 physicians, biologists, and computer scientists from 38 countries are working on individualized proton therapies for every patient. Their vision is a biologically individualized and technically optimal treatment.

The ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH specializes in the development and production of ingredients and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostics. ROTOP cooperates closely with the researchers at the Helmholtz Center Dresden-Rossendorf on whose research campus ROTOP’s headquarters are located.

Today, many types of cancer can be treated quite well. The problem are relapses. The Riboxx GmbH from Radebeul develops and produces innovative reagents for an immunotherapy that prevents these relapses.
