"Smart" in Diagnostics & Therapy

The Sysmex Partec GmbH in Görlitz is part of the globally active Japanese Sysmex Group. The site is regarded as a pioneer and market leader in the field of flow cytometry. One focus is the development and production of mobile, fully equipped diagnostic devices.

Much too often when antibiotics are prescribed without knowing whether it is a bacterial infection or not. This can be avoided with the "fluidLab" by the Anvajo GmbH from Dresden. The device is hardly any bigger than a smartphone. Blood samples can be analyzed within a minute.

A special headband from Leipzig makes it possible to look into the head and to quickly detect the smallest changes in the brain. To do so, the Sonovum GmbH has modified ultrasound technology in such a way that brain tissue can be examined “mobily” in real time and without surgical intervention.
