BESPOKED 2025 - SAXONY! joint presentation

Information and objective

BESPOKED will take place again in Saxony (Dresden) in 2025. 

The following exhibitors presented themselves at the SAXONY! joint stand:

Thomas Horn, Managing Director of the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp.: "By choosing Dresden once again, Saxony is consolidating its importance as an international location for the bicycle industry. This is particularly true as the trade fair fits in very well with the structure of the Saxony's industry, which includes established manufacturers with a long tradition and many smaller but highly innovative manufacturers, some of whom produce high-quality and innovative components using special materials. We use the trade fair on the one hand to present the location and as a platform for Saxon exhibitors, and on the other hand to present innovative solutions from the region to international industry representatives as part of our ‘BikeBusinessAdventure’ project. The aim is to support the sales and internationalization activities of Saxony's players with this proven format, which we are now implementing for the fifth time."

• The “BikeBusinessAdventure” project

The “BikeBusinessAdventure” project from October 8 to 10, 2025, includes an extensive program with company tours, best practice examples, and networking sessions. Together with Cycling Saxony, visits to stakeholders in the greater Dresden area and throughout Saxony are planned, as well as the opportunity to visit BESPOKED. Networking will be the focus on the evening of October 9, 2025, at the “Crossborder Cycle Connection - International Networking Event” as part of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). The Dresden Chamber of Crafts is also supporting the project.

• Bicycle industry in Saxony

Saxony has been one of the most important locations for the German bicycle industry for over 120 years. An estimated 10,000 people in over 300 companies are directly employed in the bicycle industry in the Free State. They form a complete value chain from product design, frame construction using different technologies and materials, component development, accessories, clothing, and bicycle tourism. The local bicycle industry has particular strengths in lightweight construction and metalworking, as well as in the application of the latest scientific findings in material selection and design.
