Information and objective
Saxony's expertise in rail-based mobility is the focus of the international railway technology trade fair TRAKO in Gdańsk. From September 23 to 26, eleven Saxon companies and institutes, together with the railway technology cluster Rail.S and Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH (WFS), will present innovative developments in the industry at Europe's second-largest trade fair for the sector.

Railway technology in Saxony: Saxony has been synonymous with innovation in the railway industry for more than 175 years and is now one of the top three centers for the industry in Germany. Around 13,000 employees in more than 240 companies generate annual sales of around one billion euros in the Free State. More than 25 research institutions and universities are active in the field of railway technology in Saxony.
