Information and objective
The TRAKO International Railway Technology Fair in Gdańsk brings together the rail transport industry from Poland and other countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe, and other regions. Over 500 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors are expected. Saxony has been represented at the fair since 2011.
The exhibitor portfolio covers the sectors of infrastructure, passenger transport, tram and trolleybus transport, freight forwarding and logistics, as well as trade and IT. TRAKO takes place every two years, alternating with Innotrans in Berlin.
Saxony has stood for innovation in the rail sector for more than 175 years. Since then, Saxony has developed into a leading rail technology location and is one of the top 3 centers of the industry in Germany.
