SAXONY!visit: Business Forum Ukraine 2027

Information and objective

Saxony Trade & Invest (WFS) invites experts, decision-makers, and managers to join on a business trip through Saxony.

In Saxony, stakeholders are active along the entire value chain in the defense and dual-use sectors, as well as in related innovative fields. By participating in the “SAXONY!visit” project, participants can meet partners, establish collaborations, and exchange expertise on the latest technologies.

WFS asks all participants to register in advance and / or submit ideas for collaborations, which can then be discussed during the trip and taken into account to ensure optimal coordination.

The business delegation is expected to consist of up to 18 participants. The primary language of the project is English.

The event will be open for international experts and decision makers from the Defence, Dual Use and related sectors. 
During the business trip, you will have the opportunity to talk to company representatives from Saxony, and identify potential fields of cooperation.

ACCOMODATION

• Saxony Trade and Invest Corp. would prefer that the group be accommodated at the same hotel in Leipzig. No preliminary agreements have been made at this time. 
• Participants are responsible for paying their own accommodations.
• In connection with the “SAXONY!visit” project, the organizer recommends Hotel Motel One Leipzig-Augustusplatz or another hotel close to Leipzig Main station. 

COSTS

Participation in the SAXONY!visit project is free of charge but requires prior registration.

The following project costs are covered within the project:

• Project management in Saxony
• Transfers in Saxony / company visits
• Costs for meals during company visit program 
• Optional: Translation assistance (German / Englisch)
• Special tickets for attendance at trade show “Intec / Z”

The following costs are not included and need to be financed by the participants:

• Travel expenses to / from Saxony
• Accommodation costs in Saxony and short-term cancellation fee's for hotels or flights
• Costs for the preparation of your company presentation / marketing material
• Own travel and health insurance fees
• Individual visits to tourist sites
• Individual appointments

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Only B2B contacts can be accepted. Upon registration, each participant can specifiy interests and needs for cooperation.
Please advise your travel details as well (use the “Message to the organizer" field). Your application needs to be confirmed prior to the event either by the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation or by the project partners. 

• Participants are required to organize their own travel to and from Saxony (Dresden).
• When registering for the  program, you accept the General Terms and Conditions of Participation for Events issued by the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation (WFS).
• The project is organized in cooperation with partners as well. Registration data will and need to be shared with those partners for organizational matters. 
• It may happen, that we kindly ask you to register for third-party events seperatly e.g. CONTACT matchmaking event.
• With your registration for this program, you agree that the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation and partners may also take photographs and videos during the complete event and publish them in online and offline media.
• The entire event will be in English.
• For the project communication the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation (WFS) will use social media chanels and communication tools (e. g. WhatsApp or similar).

CO-FINANCER & ORGANIZER

This event is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxony State Parliament. The client in this context is the Saxony State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor, Energy and Climate Protection, which supports the project. The event is part of a “SAXONY!visit” project. The project is being coordinated by the Saxony Trade & Invest Corporation (WFS). There will be additonal support from third-party organizations.

• Intec / Z – Saxony’s leading trade fair for mechanical engineering (March 3–5, 2027) featuring a guided tour

Day of Arrival - Monday, March 02

• until 04.00 pm: Individual travel to Leipzig, Germany, hotel check-in
• 06.00 pm: Informal opening dinner 

Day 1 - Tuesday, March 03

• 08:00 am: Pick-up at hotel
• 09:00 am: Company visits in Saxony
• 06:00 pm: Back in Leipzig 
• 06:00 pm: International evening and dinner 
• 09:00 pm: Transfer to the hotel

Day 2 - Wednesday, March 04

• 08:30 am: Pick-up at hotel
• 09:00 am: Registration at Intec / Z
• 09:30 pm: Business forum and one-on-one meetings / B2B meetings on defence and dual-use topics
• 03.00 pm: Guided tour or / and exploring Intec / Z at your own
• 06.00 pm: Transfer to the hotel / free time

Day 3 - Thursday, March 05

• 08.30 am: Transfer from hotel to Intec / Z trade fair 
• 09:30 am: Registration 
• 10:00 am: Guided tour or and exploring Intec / Z at your own
